This match will be shot from concealment. There will be some stages that are shot in very low light conditions. Each shooter needs to make arrangements for having his/her own concealment garment and flashlight. Sharing these items between competitors is acceptable. Proper flashlight use is part of the course of fire. Procedural errors will be assessed if a shooter's flashlight is on at any time other than while engaging targets.

ARKANSAS WINTER CLASSIC

Match Description:

The match will consist of eight stages of fire; three stages in very low light conditions (flashlight recommended), two stages in low light, and three stages in normal light. The stages will be shot from concealment.

Match Schedule:

The match is scheduled for Saturday, February 17, 2007. The flashlight stages will be held at Sturm’s Range, which is the primary match site. The remaining stages will be held at Ozark Sportsman Supply, which is located on hwy 412 west of Springdale. Driving time between the two indoor ranges is approximately 15 minutes. Shooting should conclude Saturday evening with awards presentations following immediately afterwards at Sturm’s Range.

Squadding:

Due to the logistics of using two range sites, it will be necessary to squad shooters and assign designated shooting times. We will squad shooters into groups of 8 to 10. We will honor special squadding requests when possible on a first come, first served basis. Shooters will be informed of their shooting times and locations before the match begins.

Shooter Check-In:

Shooters should arrive at each range at least thirty minutes prior to their assigned shooting time. This will allow time for shooters to organize their gear, pick up their score sheets and make any other needed preparations. There will be designated safe areas for handling firearms.
